DHARA

This is a treatment performed on the principle that the head is governing part of the body. It is hailed as the most rejuvenating, revitalizing and at the same time, the most relaxing of treatments. It tones the muscles, relaxes the body, mind and soul all at the same time. The dhara treatment will be complete with a fifteen minute scalp massage.

SHIRODHARA   ( Stress-relieving Treatment-Oil) 

This is an ancient therapy used for centuries to restore inner calm and balance to the emotions. It is alsoused to rejuvenate the scalp and hair. Medicated warm oil is poured in a constant stream that is directed to the midpoint in theforehead ("third eye") or with oscillation to calm the whole system.

TRADITIONAL KALARI MARMA MASSAGE

This is a powerful therapy indigenous to Kerala and is still practiced in its original form in the Kalaripayuttu or self defense schools of Kalari . The body has 107 marma points. Marma points, are where energy is concentrated and is considered to be the meeting points of the five organic principles: ligaments, vessels, muscles, bones and joints. The marma massage will stimulate some of these points. It is capable of soothing vaadha's imbalances, improve circulation in the body, relieve muscle pains, stress, and arthritis, improve digestion and balance the metabolism of the body. PRIYANKA   (Sesame Shabah)

Sesame seed may be the oldest spice known to man. Though most of its earliest usage seems to have been as a vegetable oil or wine rather than as a spice numerous archeological digs have found evidence that sesame oil was used thousands of years before Christ. The Babylonians made sesame cakes, wine and brandy and used the oil for cooking.  It was also used as base material for toiletries, such as perfume. SURABHI   (Vetiver Scrub)

Dry body brushing is done for the whole body. This is a slow, steady and gentle treatment to enhance circulation. A paste blended with dosha specific oils and vetiver is applied to exfoliate skin. This treatment will nourish your skin, leaving you feeling clean, refreshed and calm. (45min $85)

KUMKUMALEPA   (Saffron Delight)

Dry body brushing is done for the whole body. This is a slow, steady and gentle treatment to enhance circulation. A paste blended with milk and saffron is then applied to give you a lasting glow. ROOPA  (Herbal Wrap)

SHURUTHI   (Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Facial and Head Massage) / 60Mins

A special dosha specific blend of natural ayurvedic herbs, roots and flowers will be used to gently exfoliate the skin. Next a fitting mask will provide extra nourishment while draining out impurities and toxins. Warm steamy towels are used to remove the mask before applying a light non-greasy moisturizing cream to hydrate and protect the delicate skin of the face and neck. RAGA

Garbha Raksha   (Pregnancy Massage)

This massage helps to relieve pregnancy pains, promotes blood circulation, reduces water retention, and encourages relaxation.

Tummy Trim 

Udwarthana is a process in which the excess fat accumulated is removed with the application of herbal powder. A specially prepared oil combination is also used to bring effective results. In this treatment tummy area is targeted. A Paste will be first applied before the oil massage. BABY MASSAGE  

Ayurveda believes that baby massage is a perquisite to bonding as well as growth and development of a healthy and energized child.

It will simulate blood circulation and clear skin rushes. It will reduce skin infections, cleanse pores, soothe itching and reduce inflammations. Most of all, it will relax the baby, help sleep better, be less colicky and improve digestion. (30 Min $60)

The objective of Ayurveda is to establish prime health in every living being. This basic concept and fundamental principles aim at establishing such a condition trough the knowledge of healthy living. It suggests modification of lifestyle as a way to achieving harmony with the elements and the ecosystem. Ayurveda also aims to intercepts disease-causing factors from the beginning so that they would not deteriorate to pose a threat to the function and form of the body .

KADIVASTI   (Lower Back Treatment)

Kadivasti is a specialized local treatment to alleviate lower back pain. Poor posture, prolapsed invertebral disk or strained ligaments and muscles can also be the cause of sudden or gradual onset of low back pain, as a result of aggravated Vaadha. Some times, low backache may be associated with sciatica, a typical condition characterized with pain radiating from the lower back to the rear of either one side of leg or both legs.                                 
                                                                                                                                                                 Kadivasti can also bring relief to spondylosis, a degenerative disorder in which the vertebral bone becomes soft and loses shape. The main causes of this kind of backache can be attributed to one or more of the following reasons: muscular strain arising due to bad posture, incorrect nutrition from dietetic errors, use of high heels, lifting weights wrongly or due to prolonged anxiety. GULFAVASTI   (Knee Treatment)

This treatment is specifically addressed to relieve knee joint pains. In this procedure, warm medicated oil is retained on the sore knees for a specified period of time. It will also bring relief to crepitus and stiffness of the knee associated with arthritis and degenerative conditions. A treatment regime for 7 to 14 days of gulfavasti, coupled with other complementary treatments of the Podikizhi, followed by rest and a sensible lifestyle would bring change for the better. NASYA   (Head related disorder)

The nose is the gateway of the brain and to consciousness. Nasal administration of medication helps to correct the disorder affecting the higher cerebral, sensory, and motor function. This treatment is used mostly to eliminate kapha-oriented problems like sinus congestion, hoarseness, migraine headaches, convulsions, and certain eye  and ear problems. (30 Min $60)

SHIRO VASTI

This treatment is specially suited for facial paralysis, insomnia, head ache and mental stress. This treatment comprise keeping the oil over the head with the help with a special leather cap which is fitted on the head. The duration of the treatment and the type of the oil varies according to the nature of the complaint.(30 Min $60)

GEETHANJALI  (Essential Back Treatment)

A unique deep cleansing of the back, neck and shoulders. A herbal paste will be applied and rubbed off removing impurities in the not-so-easy-to-reach areas. A massage with oils release tension and stiffness, leaving skin smooth, soft and supple.( 30 Min $65)

GREEVAVASTI   (Shoulder Treatment)

Similar to kadivasti, this treatment will address cervical spondylosis, neck pain and stiffness. Neck related disorders, if left untreated will develop into numbness in the arm and fingers, weakness of the hands and tingling sensations in the fingers. In this treatment warm oil is retained in a dough ring over a specified period of time on the cervical region.          (30 Min$60)
